Is anybody worried that because the trains are so small that the line will be slow (kinda like the wild cat)? I am.
I think so.
"THE Top Thrill Dragster...THE Millennium Force...THE Wicked Twister...THE Magnum! How do you like those apples?!?!?"
It looked to me on the video there were 3 trains on it at the same time, but its maybe just artistic license
Well, whatever Leslie thinks, it's always the opposite.
Either way, look at the capacity numbers. 1200 PPH is better than Millennium Force on a bad day. 6 "small" trains = the equivalent of 3 "bigger" trains.
I wouldn't call 1200 pph a slow moving line. It might not actually hit that number, but even 1000 per hour will keep the line moving.
Will the line be long? I would bet it will be. This is going to be a very popular coaster.
And does anyone think WildCat is really that slow? Sure, they're not loading 36 people at a time, but they are constantly loading 3 or 4. So it just kinda slowly moves, as opposed to moving in giant jumps.

Heeeey! :-(

Ugh. Wildcat has the most torturous line for a coaster in the park, IMO.
I actually think this line will move...there arent as many folks to load and unload, which should keep us all movin.
Promoter of fog.
There would be an awful lot of hugging going on here.
Wildcat's line is worth it.

I love the Wildcat, but I do hate the line. That little ride has a kick to it, though! It's fun.

I think that the line is going to move pretty quickly because the trains might be smaller but by the look of the POV video the train is launched up the lift hill pretty quickly!
2007: Top Thrill Dragster
2008: ATL Top Thrill Dragster
But we're not taking in consideration that they're going to have problems with the launching systems. So the line is eventually going to be a long wait...

But see, I am wondering how popular the ride will be with folks. Millennium Force and Top Thrill Dragster are popular because they are so damn big. You can drive down the causeway, see them, and say, "I'm riding that bad boy." Maverick is in the back of the park and its lift isn't as visible. Plus it is in the back of the park. Are regular ol' park folk really going to pass up Millennium Force, Magnum, Raptor, Top Thrill Dragster, and Mantis to get to this guy?
What is Wicked Twister's queue like compare to the other rides on a busy day? I know it is dramatically different because it only has a single train, but would you guys consider it as popular?
