Skyscraper Prices??

Is skyscraper going to be ready for the grand opening?

As far as I know its going to open on the 9th, although I'm hardly an authority for these things.

According to Brian Edwards it will be.

I was there 6/16-19 and they had a buy one get one free deal. It was open to everyone, not just Platinum holders.

That's kind of dumb. What are the benefits for Platnium Pass holders now? We pay extra for those benefits, why does everyone else get to do it now as well? I know we still get a lot of other good deals, but still..

Hopefully more people will be riding it now at least.

I think it's probably just a limited time promotion since it's only been open a few weeks. It didn't seem like too many people were riding it when I was there. It helped us out a lot though because there were 3 people in my group and instead of one person riding by themselves we bought 4 tickets for $40 and one person rode twice.

I laughed when my friend told me over the phone she will never ride Skyscraper ever, because she was told it wasn't safe!!!

I don't really see why some feel that the ride doesn't look safe. When I was watching it looked perfectly safe and it looked like a lot of people were enjoying their rides on it.

My friend believes everything she hears, and she was told by TTD crew, who was told by maintenance that skyscraper wasn't safe, and she will never ever ride it again. It makes me mad that she was so excited about the ride before, now it's the opposite. But it is worth the $20 and I already rode it twice and have a Plat. pass to use the deals for it.
