Skype Interview for Ride Host

So I had a basic phone interview today with Debra Reinauer(would I have a problem with a drug test, working different shifts, appearance guidelines, etc.) for ride host. Since I live over on the west side of Michigan, we set up a Skype interview for Monday. My questions are:

Should I still dress up for it like a normal interview?

And to anyone who's already had an interview with her: what are some of the questions she might ask?

This might just be me, but I would dress in business casual. It may be the most informal interview of your life, but I would want to present myself looking professional.

She'll ask you just basic interview questions, "Tell me about a time when you experienced great guest service..." "Why do you want to work at Cedar Point?"

Good luck!

So like, a button down long-sleeved shirt?

I found this list in a google search:

"Why did you choose Cedar Point as a place of employment?
Name a time you recieved good & bad customer service and what was the outcome?
Are you afraid of heights?
Would you rather work with Kids or Adults?
Name a type in which you took led of something?
Are willing to work weekends?
Can you stand for a long period of time?
Are you able to lift 50+ Pounds?"

Seem pretty accurate?

And thanks!

Sounds pretty accurate. I mean, to every recent interview (minus phone interviews) that I've had, I've just wore a dress shirt, dress pants and flats. But yeah, I think a button down shirt would be fine.

And the nice thing is, I won't have to worry about the pants or shoes since it's Skype haha. Thanks!

Good luck! Debra is pretty easy going during interviews, so dont be too nervous! :) Hope to see you join Area 1 Ride Operations!

I interviewed with Steve but the questions are the same as what you found above! and when they ask if you rather work with kids or adults be honest since this will help determine where they put you.

Idk if this will help but I went to open interviews at castaway bay and when I got interviewed they asked me questions about a time I've set a goal for myself, when I've helped motivate someone, why I wanted to work at CP, if I've ever been in trouble at school, what my job now would say about me if he called them, and that's all I can remember at the moment. Lol

But just smile and be yourself. :) good luck!

Thanks all! Other than the kids or adults question, is there anything else that goes into determining where they put you?

If you like fast paced/ slow paced work, and if you are scared of hights.
and how you persent yourself
