skype interview

Okay so earlier today, I had an phone interview with food services and being told that the phone interview went good and he would like me to attend a 2nd interview on Skype. For all of you who had an Skype interview before, do they typically ask you the same questions from the phone interview or do they ask questions that will totally throw you off? Do you have to dress up? Do they tell you right away if you got hired or not?

I wore a black polo. My Skype interview was for rides so it might be different. It was all the same questions from the phone interview and more "tell me about a time when" questions. All pretty easy. It lasted about an hour and I got all my trainings scheduled, we talked about what the job was like and I got my job offer in the middle of the interview.

I was offered a job in rides after my skype interview. The questions were fairly similar and couple times the questions I were asked in the skype interview were the opposite of the phone interview. Such as "a time when you had good customer service" and then "a time when you had bad customer service" otherwise the interview was fairly casual. Dress nice but no suit and tie needed. And remember to look into the camera not the screen for eye contact.

What happens if one does not have skype?

If you live close to the park, or if they're coming to your area, then you'll do an in person interview. I know for out of state they have to do a face to face interview so they chose skype. You can discuss more options with your hiring manager.

Yeah I pretty much got asked the same questions you guys were saying during the phone interview. Like "name a time I set goals for myself and how do I achieve it?" "name a time you made a mistake and how would you fix that mistake?". I think they were pretty easy to me since I have jobs in the past that helped me answer those questions pretty well.

So just had my Skype interview and he says that I'm a strong candidate and I should be expecting a phone call either Today or Monday to see if I'm hired or not.
