SKYHAWK TEST?!

Sorry, the maXair check is each ride op checks each restraing, circling the gondola once and returning to the same spot (entrance or exit). The double checks on maXair and Skyhawk are the most annoying things about two awesome, non-coaster rides. And like Jeff said, it's over-checking.

Argh! D clips! >:- (

p.s.- Has anyone else noticed that CP changed the ride time on the SH page to one minute?

HA!

It was hardly a miniute during the 2006 season. 2 Full swings and you were done.

I think my longest ride cycle was about 4 minutes. And that was only because we got to go again after they E-stoped us because of a Seagul.

I don't find the D-rings particularly difficult to deal with. You just have to wait your turn.

Thats the problem right there! Nobody knows when to wait their turn. Two hands struggling to get their D clips on that little metal ring is quite the pain. It's good thing that whenever I'm on Skyhawk Im with my friend who knows the pain of the D clips and thus lets me clip mine first.

When I rode the pay per ride swing at Dorney Park, I thought the restraint system would be a pain in the butt on a large-scale ride. I'm really not sure why they went with that at all.

Does anyone know if the checking system was something implemented on CP's part, or mandated by S&S?

If you just communicate with the person you are sitting next to, you should have a much easier time with the clips.

^ I prefer to rapp them across the knuckles and say "STAY ON YOUR SIDE"

Seems to get the point across.

^ Yes, that would work also. I want to keep my friends though.:)

^ Who said anything about friends :)

I still have some trouble, especially getting the clip off/out even if I do wait for the person next to me. Getting it on/in isn't too much of a hassle, more so getting it off/out.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

Take a deep breath and relax. People tend to get worked up because they feel there's others coming at them for the next cycle and they need to exit really fast.

We're not talking about solving a Rubik's cube here. We all know the simple solution for that one anyhow, the dang things come apart.

From what I've seen, it's CF and not S&S. Kennywood's has no seat belts at all, which, in all honesty - is SCARY.

You can tell its the off season. 3 pages on testing skyhawk?

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Actually, we were talking about Rubik's Cubes now.

Josh is the one still stuck on the Skyhawk thing. ;)
