Skyhawk AND ????

It would be quite fun to take a White Water Landing Canoe and actually use it in a real body of water.

Ok, here's a rundown

SkyHawk - New for 2006
Wood - New for Gemini
WWL - gone for 2006
WWL land - Will be used for something future (i.e. NOT 2006)

There is no edge to be kept on. WWL is being removed for future development. Probably because they want to get some site prep done this offseason to help out the construction next off season of whatever goes in. If you think about it, they have 6 months (Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr) to build a coaster during some of the worst weather in the midwest. Any kind of head start that they can get is worth it. If they are going coaster in 07 (which seems to be likely) the removal of WWL (probably at least 45 day project) won't cut into their construction time next fall. Not to mention with a good number of footers laid, they can start vertical construction as soon as the park is closed.

I'm glad there's at least one person on this site who isn't retarded.

Are you serious? Those things would go straight to the bottom. The metal weighs a whole lot more than you think. It's just a car shaped as a canoe. Not an actual canoe.

Many canoes and boats and ships are made of metal.

Didn't the canoes on (the late) WWL float? Or was that "special" water?

Brandon

Oh I am sure that the water used on WWL was made specifically for log rides...and how the canoe moved down the ride was also unique...there were these little motors under the water that helped the canoe along so that it only seemed as if it was floating. Come on I thought everyone knew that (end of sarcasm).

Those canoes floated. Aircraft carriers are solid metal and they float. Its about displacement.

I think it was the special water. :)

And I thought it was about buoyancy.

Those boats float. Unless you weigh too much, then they roll down the trough on the wheels. Don't ask how I know that!
