Skyhawk

In line for skyhawk a group of high school age boys got in line for skyhawk and i heard their discussion of "This ride is gonna be stupid", "It's just a big swing", and "Are we gonna wait a half hour for this?"... then as we got off the ride they were saying things like "That was awesome" and "worth the wait"... I thought it was funny. Has anyone else heard people downplaying the "coolness" of Skyhawk?

I have multiple times. Mostly by high school aged kids. Not only at Skyhawk but at other rides. Some people said that the ride they were in line for was going to be stupid or they were panicking and as soon as they came off, they were asking to do it again! I have to admit to doing it once when I was seven with Iron Dragon....

An inverted coaster is like a ski lift gone haywire!!

Skyhawk (and the other Screamin' Swings) bores me now. It's sad, because I like the rides, but when I ride them, I just don't feel anything.

I honestly don't know what happened to me that made me so used to them. I guess it happens with everything if you do it enough.

This ride kinda grew on me in past weeks. I have post-tramatic stress disorder and Skyhawk causes my panic attacks to flare up, but it doesn't make me not love it. It's kinda growing on me and making me less afraid of coasters for some reason.

I only get shaky for a few minutes after riding it but I always find it awesome.

I feel as though the loading time may be slightly shorter this year than last, which makes it better. The new buckles may have helped slightly, or the crew may be even more efficient. Anybody else feel this way, or am I imagining things?

Lady J, any trouble with fitting on Skyhawk? I have never tried it becuase it looks small.

Its actually quite spacious, but if you have worries Missy, there is a test seat out front.

^^ No, I had no trouble fitting on the test seat or the ride itself. If I was any bigger in the lower stomach area though, I think I would have problems. So far so good though :)
