Sky Ride Hosts

I just found out that I have been hired as a ride host on the Sky Ride. Does anyone have any information/stories they could give me? I can't wait to get to work!

Many a time I saw Sky Ride stopped for some reason or another. Perhaps this means you will have a lot of down time. That could be good. :)

In high winds or storms the ride goes down. I think that if it is because of the wind that the ride hosts go out and sweep the midway. Also I've heard that the cars are quite heavy and will give you a good workout.

Does anyone know how many hours a week you normally work as a ride host on the Sky Ride? I am hoping to get as many hours as I can.

Do you normally only work the ride you start on, or do you have a chance to move to another ride if there is an opening?

Oh don't worry about not getting enough hours. I knew of someone working that ride. It's a good one to work.
