Skeleton Key Spoilers wanted Which is best and why?

If anyone went today and did the skeleton key rooms, could you tell us without any spoilers if they were good? Like were any of them more intense than the normal haunted houses?

The other two are in the JW Addington Mill and the Shoot The Rapids photo booth

This is already a spoiler thread so I say spoil away (especially since I won't be able to make it down this year :( )

Interesting that they placed one of the rooms in the Mill, because that is one of the control rooms/staging areas for ScreamWorks and Cornstalkers. Though the controls are all housed upstairs usually so no reason they could not use the downstairs.

I always thought the location in the houses for the Skeleton rooms was bad, by putting them at the end of the house, and not separating the groups more, they always had some type of jam. So glad to see them being moved out on their own. And I am sure it makes it easier on Live E to work the room now since they don't have to contend with random guest walking in lol.

Here's a question about fright lane, and I didn't want to start a new thread. Is it one time use per house and skeleton key, or is it unlimited for both, or is it limited for one, unlimited for the other?

CP Top 5: 1) Steel Vengeance 2) Maverick 3) Magnum 4) Raptor 5) Millennium

Our family tried out all 5 skeleton key rooms. They are a nice little add on to the fright lane pass but I probably wouldn't buy it just for the skeleton key rooms. I liked 3 of the 5 rooms. One I thought was "meh" but a good scare and one of them was really disappointing. I would say they are definitely not more intense than the haunted houses.

If you would like to know a description of the rooms read below. I can post spoilers later if anyone wants them.

The skeleton key room in the mill is a timed escape room in a simulated elevator. We actually failed to solve this one, so I am curious to know the spoiler.

Another room is located near where Shoot the Rapids used to be. It's a small blackout maze. This was one of our favorites.

2 rooms are located in the blacksmith shop area. One is a quick "gross out" taste test that lets you in the other room. I thought it was disappointing that this was considered one of the 5 rooms. Edit: also only one person from our party had to do the taste test, so not everyone got to participate. The next room was an untimed escape room puzzle with a good scare.

The room by the gold panning area is an untimed escape room from a jail cell.

Overall the rooms aren't too challenging. If you have kids in your group (we had a 9yo), as long as they can handle a few scares, it's a fun family friendly group activity.

The fright lane passes are essentially a punch card. One time use per indoor haunted house and skeleton key room.
Edit: I forgot to mention that Cornstalkers is also included in the fright lane pass.

So, now that haunt is over...will anybody who went through the skeleton key rooms this year give spoilers on what they were like? Was it worth the money?
