I thought I read somewhere that SeaWorld didn't own the land that it was on? I thought they were leasing it from Geauga Lake/Six Flags, and that was why they couldn't build any rides. So if SF already owned the land, why the $110 mill price tag on kicking SeaWorld off?
Also, as a SeaWorld employee, I just want to express my utter disappointment over this. Anheuser Busch was a great company to work for, they treated their employees well, the park was beautiful and we were proud to work at such a quality park. I personally had a terrible time on both visits to SFO. It was filthy, crowded, boring, and generally unfriendly.
I feel like a baseball player who's been traded to their rival team.
