Simple Question on Shoes

Alright I am going to be working this summer and this Sunday I am going to process in. So naturally I am having a few nervous jitters about everything. Specifically my focus is about the shoes I'm going to have to wear as a Ride Host.

Previous years that I have visited I am pretty sure I have seen some people wearing slip-on canvas style shoes like vans or an off-brand. I knew they were all white and have a pair myself so I thought I was set until I read that they say leather shoes are required. I have a pair but they are cheap sketchers that have little strips of blue on them and the logo on the tongue. I guess I just need some advise as to if either of these shoes are going to be a problem and why. Also do you think I am going to have to buy a new pair of shoes? Thanks.

Awesome, because they are 100% white, with the exception of a black brand name on the back. No color what-so-ever and I've been freaking out because all the other forums just talk about color and not the actual material. Thank you so so SO much.
