The harsh winter should have little effect on the ride assuming it was put away properly, with the pipes and pumps drained and possibly even removed from the ride. It's not all that different from a swimming pool.

Cedar Point isn't usually quick to remove rides. Look how long DT and Mantis lasted. And Mean Streak is still standing and that's nearly a walk-on every time I go, even on somewhat busy days on top of that everyone complains about that ride.

What's wrong with Shoot the Rapids? I think it's a fun little ride!
I'm aware of the 2013 incident and the construction issues, but... As an actual ride? I'm not a huge fan of water rides but STR is better than most!
I've always felt Snake River Falls and Thunder Canyon were pretty pointless. At least STR is interesting...
