I'm bringing like 5 changes of clothes, cause I plan on being one of them they ask to stay all day! The letter didn't mention if we'd be able to stay in the park after we were dismissed for the day. It really doesn't matter to me, but I wouldn't mind catching a ride on MF or Magnum.
Anyhoo, I'm packed and ready to go. The gas tank is topped off, the cd's are picked out, and my radar detector is charged up! Getting up at 2:30 tomorrow to leave the house by 3:00. SO stoked and ready to shoot my 2nd ever CP commercial!

From what I remember in the blog, I think they mentioned 35 people will be at the shoot. They may have overbooked in case of cancellations. I'm not sure if they will let us in the rest of the park afterwards, but I wouldn't be at all surprised. I'm a bit curious as to why they didn't mention that in the letter. According to the letter, it's going to be an all day shoot. When I shot the Raptor commercial back in 2002, we were there about 3 hours, but I have a feeling with this being a brand new ride, there's going to be A LOT more to shoot. Plan on being at STR most of the day. Shooting the commercial will be a lot of fun. There will be a lot of hurry up and wait type stuff.
BTW, I am bringing SEVERAL pairs of clothes with me, but I will be most noticeable in the bright yellow shirt with a giant smiley face on it. Be sure to say hi if you see me!

This line from the blog is classic:
"It's a small price to pay for a chance at stardom!"
It's such a great spin; as if having people stand around wet all day for a slim chance of being on screen for a few seconds in a regional TV commercial and not paying them for it is somehow doing them a favor.
Girl: "l want to ride that yellow one again... Twisted Wicker"
Me: "It's a roller coaster, not a broken clothes hamper."
