I think I was with Dan when he got that picture, because Dave is in one of my pics too. If I remember correctly there probably were not enough people to fill a train. Empty trains make for horrible picture taking.

Now, I remember that ride. I had another reason for not wanting to pair up with the guy in 1-2. He was a bit of a troublemaker and I didn't want to get involved. Perhaps you can see what I am talking about in the shot...

Knowing from 4 years of ride op experience sometimes you cant just pair up, you can yell and scream and ask all you want but no one responds. Would you rather us hold a train to fill a seat or call once and send it if we dont get a response right away?

I don't know about the rest of you who had been to DisneyWorld, but I liked their Single Rider line, which allowed them to fill trains and provide a shorter wait for those that don't care about riding seperately. Obviously, that's a tough thing to do with all of CP's coasters (and their small stations), but for rides like TTD, where having consistent weight improves performance, it would've been a smart and efficient option to consider.
Of course now that I write this, I feel like maybe there already is a system like that on TTD. Is there? I've only ridden the thing twice.
Wow. I can hear the gasps already.
Any similarity in name is purely coincidental.

Yes, it is a great thing. They also do this at Disneyland... how else can you get on Splash Mountain in 5 minutes?
