I'm at it again... a trip report from another park. I haven't been to Six Flags Great America in about 10 years, but now that I've moved up here I figured I had to get a pass. Anyway this is a quickie.
Raging Bull is a pretty good B&M hyper coaster, but nowhere near Maggie. Deja Vu is lame because riders over 6'4" can't ride. But it looks fun. Iron Wolf is a really rough B&M Stand-up, but still pretty fun. Batman the Ride is VERY fun.. it packs as much of a punch as raptor, but in a shorter time. So I like both equally. Superman Ultimate Flight is a complete waste of time. The line was 3 times as long as any other ride in the whole park, but the ride was very short and uneventful after the pretzel loop. All in all, not a bad park. But I miss CP already. I'm gonna have to try to make that trip at the end of the summer ;)

Oh and for the record... I'm now posting on a SFGAm fan site, and I think it's really funny that about half of the people on that site have Cedar Point avatars. Cedar Point... it's bliss, baby.

I agree that Raging Bull was pretty mediocre, and its too bad that you couldn't ride Deja Vu. And Superman is pretty dull other than the amazing pretzel loop.

And I'm not really sure on the current rules regarding topics on other parks on this site, but in any event, you may get more discussion on this TR posting it on Coasterbuzz or something.

SFGam is my "home" park, and just last week I booked a trip to CP (my second one.... hoping TTD is OPEN this time!).

Yeah, Iron Wolf is pretty brutal.

Please tell me you went on AMEagle and Viper. For my money, Viper is easily the most underrated ride in that park. And Eagle is a classic. Love that they continue to run one side backwards.

Superman is indeed not great overall, but the bottom of the dive loop in the back row is EASILY the closest ive ever come to blacking out on a ride. Ridiculously intense.

And I give the nod to V2 over Wicked Twister. The straight shot up the back with the "brake pause" is the best part of that ride.

Don't let your height get you down on Vu. I've been on that ride exactly once since its debut - its broken down more than TTD and Kingda Ka COMBINED.

I did ride AMEagle. I got on the last train of the night, actually. But I skipped Viper. I'll definitely do that next time.

Also, I rode back seat on Superman and that pretzel loop really is insane.
