I applied for a Server/Bartender positions. Has anyone worked these before? How did you like it? What is the pay if you get tips?

I worked as a server at TGI Friday's by Castaway Bay summer of 2010. The tips and the people I worked with were simply amazing. The managers on the other hand...not so amazing

I bartended in a saloon inside the park made 6.10 an hour plus tips last summer and am this summer as well goooood money

i worked at the saloon in summer 08. our crew was amazing and made amazing tips.. i am at Famous Daves This year as a server.

I just landed a job in the Last Chance Saloon. Wage is $6.10 an hour plus tips. I thought that was great pay for a server, so i'm wondering how are the tips? Also, do we get to take home the cash tips everynight or are they all just added into our check?

hey i worked at Last Chance my first season.. The tips were great and yes you take home tips every day. Checks are outweighed by the amount of tips you make.
