Sept. 21-22 (my weekend in heaven)

WOW!! What a great way to spend a weekend!! We arrived Friday night at around 8:30 and got free park passes from a hotel package. I started off my weekend with the Iron Dragon...definately better at night. After that, we went on to the Wildcat, Millennium Force (I like it more during the day), and throuth the Fright Zone to the Mine Ride. Wow, those were some bored ops!! We then went on the swins at my brother's request. Then it was off to Magnum, Raptor 3 times (one in front), 2 more times on MF, Power Tower up, and Magnum 2 more times. Magnum and Raptor were walk-ons, even with 2 trains each and so was Power Tower even with one tower for up and one for down. Mine ride and Iron Dragon naturally didn't have lines, and neither did Wildcat. MF has about a 10 min. line. My shortest wait for MF was perviously about 1hr. 30min.!!

On Saturday, we went into the park at 11:15. We went on MF, which opened early and waited about 15min. After we got off, Mantis had opened and we waited for about 10 min., 5 of which was spent waiting for the crew to clean up some puke. From there, we went on Wildcat (10 min.s) Iron Dragon (10 min.s), Power Tower Up (5 min.s) and Down (15 min.s), Corkscrew (walk-on), Troika (walk-on), and Chaos (5 min.s, upside down 3 times), and Magnum (15 min.s). I don't think Magnum feels as high anymore, you get to the top and there is VertiGo still 70 feet higher! I kept expecting to climb higher when we get to the top. After Magnum, we rode the Tilt-O-Wirl in Camp Snoopy (walk-on), Woodstock Express (20 min.s...It's short, but i like it more than the Mine Ride), and Gemini (20 min.s) After that, we ate and the adults got beer at the Red Garter Salloon. It seemed to take forever for them to do this, so my cousins and I went on the Mine Ride (no wait) and I went into the Town Hall Museum , which I have been hearing SO much about(that Mean Streak model is pretty cool). After that, we went to check Mean Streak, but it had a 1 hr. wait, so we decided to go back later. We went on White Water Landing (walk-on). You should have seen the look the OP gave me, a teenager, when I told her that there were 20 in my group (it was true). We then went on Wave Swinger (walk-on) and the Under Taker U haunted house(10 min.), which was pretty cool, but not very scary. After that, we went to the front and went on Raptor(15 min.s), Deamon Drop(15 min.s), and Disaster Transport(20 min.s). We hit Oceana for my first time next, and now I know what you guys mean about being deserted, the place needs some action! We rode Schwabinchen(walk-on), and Ocean Motion(walk-on). We went out through the gate over there and at my uncle's bus in Camper Village. We went to get VertiGO tickets and go back into the park at 7:30, where we saw the "confrontation". We then walked all the way through Camper Village, allong the beach, and in on the other side by the arcade. My uncle bought our Ripcord/VertiGo tickets while the rest of us went on Mean Streak(5 min.s). We then rode the train to the MF station, played some games, and headed back to Challenge Park. I will say, I was a little nervous going back there after what I'd seen earlier (lots of blood and a lot of angry people), but CP handled things very well. We went on Ripcord (I pulled). It first time on CP's Ripcord, though I've been on a skycoaster elsewhere. Then, I wrapped up my weekend on VertiGo, where I chose Cosmic Flip. Vertigo was a lot of fun, but VERY short. In the future I'd like to see 2 shots for $15.00 maybe?

13 coasters in one day, and a total of 4 rides on Magnum, Raptor, Iron Dragon, and Millennium Force. I had a great time, and if I don't get back down there, I'm satisfied until next year.

Magnum may be high, but Raptor rules the sky!
