Is anyone going to Cedar Point on the 12 first weekend of halloweekends me and one of my friends are going?

I am hoping to go on Sunday! I hope the rain will be scattered. If not I will be there next weekend no matter what!!!!

I checked the hourly forecast when I was at work and figured it was going to be raining off and on most of the time, so I decided not to go. But a friend noted that the park would be virtually empty due to weather, and so long as we acknowledged that we were going mainly for the Halloween stuff and not the rides, we wouldn't be disappointed even if it did rain.

And boy am I glad we went! I got there around 7:15 when it was still sprinkling, but after that it never rained. It was muggy and sticky, but not too uncomfortable. We got on Dragster 4 times (witnessed 3 rollbacks, but didn't get one, sadly), MilF 6 times, Blue Streak 2 times, Maverick, Wildcat, Raptor. Minimal waits, if any. Blue Streak was running wicked cool.

Terror Island is neat if only for the views of MilF from angles you don't normally get to see. I'm not big into haunted walks and Halloween, but I thought CornStalkers was fun. Too bad it smelled like wet leaves -- sometimes overwhelmingly -- the whole time.

And the lesson to be learned is: Weather can't even be predicted two hours in advance. :)
