Seeing Stars at CP

Randy Moss from the Raiders was there a few years back. He took a bunch of children to CP and paid their way. He did it for the kids who otherwise wouldn't be able to afford to go. I thought it was pretty classy, considering it's Randy Moss.

I did clear a Drop tower last season for Montell and his bodyguards. Didn't think much of it.

My Mom's got photos of Isiah Thomas and Magic Johnson playing the Plate Break in the late 70's.

I saw stars at CP yesterday. Right after getting off of maXair. Heard tweety birds, too.

Griffey Jr. is very often at PKI (yes I know we're talking CP here), but PKI is his home park after all... One day I was at PKI I saw him and Sean Casey.... pretty exciting. He was curteous to the people around and talking, though it did seem there were a guard or 2 with him, which he probably needs...

Someone told me they saw Junior and Dunn there one day...

I had the honor of asking Macy Gray not to sit on the handrail. That was fun!:)

Somewhere I have a pic of Trent Reznor on the Millennium Force exit platfrom.

I would love to see that pic of Trent Reznor. Kid Rock is another that has been to Cedar Point, it was on a Much Music interview last summer. They were asking him what he was doing with his spare time and he had mentioned that he had just visited Cedar Point.

I had a ride on Mantis back in '96 with Bone Thugs 'n Harmony (remember them?) and their friends... boy that was interesting 3 minutes.

He actually stood in line for the front seat for over an hour. I don't think many people even noticed who he was. We weren't even sure until we talked to him.

I wish I would have had my camera the day Monica Lewinsky came for a ride.

In 2003 I held Ken Griffey JR's cellphone and baseball cap while riding Millenium Force, I also got to meet WWF wrestling stars and took my picture with them and some of my crew members.

Years ago, I met skid row at the burger patio having lunch. I was also at the controls of mean streak when Montel rode.

We saw Al Snow and Miss Jackie of WWE fame getting off the train we were about to board on Gemini and then later on the Frontier midway. No surprise though, he lives in Ohio and is a coaster junkie.

I saw Ricardo Montalban at C.P. once a few years ago. (does that name mean anything to any of you?) He was there with a bunch of little kids, grandkids maybe. And man, he was lookin old, too.

Rode SOB at PKI with Nick Lachey the other day.

We had dinner next to Kid Rock, before he got too big. When he had his "coming out" on one of the MTV award shows, we queued for Iron Dragon right behind him, his date and some other dude.

And not to mention Jackie worked a few seasons on Mean Streak.

I think Kid Rock works the Mean Streak this season:)
