Season pass renewal question

Everyone could just work at one of the parks and get into other parks for free!

I didn't know where to post this but this is the best i could find. I wanted to renew my platinum pass. Last year we were down at kings island and bought our passes. so this year we went down to renew our passes. It has been said that you get a new pass for 2009 but we didn't. They just activated 2009 to our existing pass. I just thought people would like to know this
