Season Pass Renewal Question

Hi last year I bought my first season pass, and i'm going to renew it but the form I printed off CP's site says I need the certificate. I can't find my certificate! Is there anyway else to renew it by this friday??

Thanx.

If you look at the renewal form under the "I have enclosed" area, you can see the last oprion. Payment for passes. Send the payment and what you want. Then they will send you your certificates and you can send that form again but with the certificates and they will send you you plastic pass

Thanx!!!!!

I have another pass question. I renewed my pass online and printed the certificates. I am planning on mailing them in, but I remember that last year they had a date that you could start mailing in certificates and this year I haven't found anything that says that. Does this mean I can just send in my certificates now, or do I have to wait like last year?

I do not know who started this date mailing rule thing, but - as always - you can mail your certificates in with the form as soon as you get them. It is now even easier doing it this year. Just buy the darn things online and you can print out your own certficates immediately and printed right on your certificates is the renewal mailer form. It couldn't be easier ... well it actually could but at least it is easier than ever before.

I have a question about a CP season pass:

I am interested in purchasing a Cedar Point season pass, but not sure if I want to get the Geauga Lake add-on package. When I go to order a season pass on the web site, the form doesn't ask if I want the Geauga Lake add-on. Will I have the option to purchase the add-on for $26 when redeeming the Season Pass certificate for the Photo ID? - And if I still don't want to buy the add-on, will that offer still be there all season for $26?

From what I saw, if you want the add-on for GL now, you have to do the mail-in or fax form which gives you the GL option. Obviously the only way to do that now is to fax the form.

I suspect, as is the case with Joe Cool, you can add the option on when you redeem the certificates for the photo ID (we did this one year to add JC to two passes).

I'll be sending my printed certificates in tomorrow and hope I get the passes back before xmas as one renewal is a xmas present for my son's GF.

Yeah, I had to order by phone, which was kind of annoying. You can't get the GL upgrades online.

You can if you order the combo pass. However, I agree that the option is lame. I think you can order all your certs. online and then when you mail them in add GL option and enclose check or credit card info for the charge. They should just have the option to check when you buy a regular pass online and print out an additional certificate for GL.

Pretty slick though printing the passes at home..

Sparty On!

Anyone get their passes in the mail yet? I just got mine on yesterday and am pumped up in anticipation for the '05 season.

I have a question. I ordered my passes online, but I didn't have a printer at the time. I got the conformation number but I didn't print the certificates. Is there any way I can still print my certificates at a later time or am I completly screwed?

I don't know if their still doing this this year but usually in April the season pass office will open and you can go and get your picture taken and your season pass card. Its usually third week of April untill opening.

Later,

EDIT:I did get my conf. number and printed my tickets ok, but if you ordered them back when they were cheap and haven't printed yet then you MUST print them by 31JAN.

Hey cyberdman, what do the passes look like this year? I know they changed quite a bit between 03 and 04.

Well, we thought we'd treat ourselves this year and were going to make it a point to get to Soak City (since we never go there) so we splurged for the first time and got the combo pass with the Geauga Lake add-on. Boy with that, Joe Cool and Parking on my pass it sure is crowded. I have never gotten the combo pass so I can only compare it to last years regular pass with parking and Joe Cool.

The pass is a light orange plain backdrop. Cedar Point logo is split up on 2 lines (I imagine that is the same for last year's combo pass), Standard Soak City logo next to that and then Joe Cool. Big ole green 'P' for parking and to the right of that a big white 'G' with Geauga on top of that surrounded by blue. The year is under your picture and 'Regular Combo' below all the logos on top. This year the Bar Code is on the front and all legal speak is on the back - with no spelling errors this year. ;)

I am preparing to send in my Certificates right now. My wife and I also splurged this year and bought the full out combo pass with all the bells and whistles.

I hope that Cedar Point has another "free refills all season" drink bottle for MaxAir, as they did for dragster. With that Bottle, Joe Cool, Parking pass, and the combo pass, we were able to go to the park regularly with only having to worry about having a couple bucks for some Taco Bell and Gas. With the Joe cool we could save money on food, which works best with a group of people. They order the food, you eat the "free" appetizer or whatever it is.

I think having the free Joe Cool and Geauga Lake add ons with the combo passes have definately sold them a lot more combo passes. I know that's the only reason I got a combo pass for the first time ever this year.

Yeah me too Ralph!

I mailed my certificates in in October and I haven't received my pass yet. Any idea how long this takes?

You should have them by now. I bought, printed and mailed my certs out on the last day they were cheap, like November 13th or something like that, and I got my passes over last weekend.

Thank God the passes aren't pink this year, although I am surprised that the Geauga Lake endorsements are so small.
