Season Pass Re-entry

You do get unlimited visits. You just have to get your hand stamped. Every park every where does the same thing. What is so hard to understand about that?

Some of these posts defy logic.

Well, if someone has a season pass they should be able to come and go as the please. Isn't that what the season pass is for? I've done it at Six Flags Parks...So please, don't tell me what's logical.

I find the whole process perfectly logical. What I don't understand is what the problem is with getting your hand stamped. It's already been mentioned it won't wash off (see Lee's post) easily, and if it does, they can check your photo to verify who you are.

I don't get why it's being made to sound like it's some conspiracy by the park. They're trying to protect their interests, and this does it fairly well. I'm sure the reason they changed the procedure is because they were getting burned and they knew it.

I talked my way back into the park one day when I forgot to get a handstamp. All we were told was "Make sure you get a stamp next time!"

I own you!

I would imagine it also helps get a more accurate count of guests visiting, along with preventing the misuse. I have no problem getting my wrist/hand stamped. I've never had the stamp completely wash off at Soak City.

If you are a season passholder, we can look you up at the Front Gate (Park Admissions window) if you fear your stamp has been washed away. But you'll find that it takes quite a lot to make them disappear. Walk over to Readmission and give it a try first.

Yes, but only do it once because the second time they will make you pay $10 for a new pass and void your old one.

That's the way it should be. If I forgot to get a handstamp, (for whatever reason - Its not like I'd do it often) I'd sure hope they'd allow me to still re-enter. I usually make it a habit of getting a handstamp anytime I leave a park before closing, though. Never know when you might change your mind.

Assuming CP uses the UV reactive "stuff" for hand stamps.

Couldn't someone just use highliter and rub it on their hand to make it glow? They could say they got the stamp but it was smeared at soak city, washing their hands etc. No one could say any different.

Speaking of the $10 replacement fee, I thought I would bring this up. My friend had really big hair (a fro actually) when he got his pass picture, but has since cut it all off. If we get an entrance worker that actually looks at the pictures, he always gets crap about not looking like his picture. One time the lady actually called over someone else to verify the picture. The thing is, he only goes through this crap because of the $10 replacement fee. There should be some way to accomodate people who no longer look like what they did in the picture. Just a little rant that I thought I'd bring up.
