Season Pass Center

Since we are getting close to the opening of Cedar Point, I was curious if anybody knows when it will open for redeeming your Pass for the year. I want to go up early this time before the park opens.

I had the same question, I was originally going to get it on opening day.

It opened last Wednesday. Quick and easy. Probably the best processing experience yet!

Yup I was just up there today to process. It took about 5 minutes, the hardest part was catching my eticket thing that started to blow away. :( I got it though.

Got mine and my sons pass yesterday. It took longer for me to sign my card than it took to get the pass. :)

Handed them my e-ticket, they said smile at the camera, here's your card, sign it. ok your done. Wow!

1 hour 15 minute drive, then I was done, we wandered around the parking lot, because we weren't ready to leave yet.

Very impressed with the speed of getting our passes this year.

GATEKEEPER-I came, I rode, I was mildly disappointed; until a second ride (rear left) put GateKeeper back on the...it's a nice ride list.

I sure hope it won't be too busy when I go on the 6th.

1.25? Hubby and I drove 2.75 Thursday just to get our passes!

Granted, we did meet some good friends for dinner in Sandusky after,
but that is one long ride when there's no coaster on the other end! :)

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that?

2.5 Hour drive for me then another 3 and a half down to Kings Island, then back home was another 5 hours. It was a long day yesterday, but well worth it!

I'm tempted to drive there myself just for a pic trip and to get my season pass replaced with CP's design. But I'll be there the friday before opening day anyway for a Challenge Park palooooooza! Skyscraper, Ripcord, and Challenge Golf......awwwwww yea!

This is the first year I purchased a season pass and I wasn't planning on going to get it redeemed early or anything ( I really don't have time to drive 2 hours to sandusky and back without actually going to the park). I was hoping to just get it redeemed on the same day I went to the park. After reading the information on their site it says that the redemption center doesn't even open the same time the park does in the spring. So my question is will they allow you to use the eticket to get in or would they really just force you to wait until the center opens? =(

The redemption center is open now and is certainly open every day the park is open. You will not have a problem getting your pass any day during the season.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

The "spring" hours just mean before the park opens for the season. Once the park opens for the season, the Season Pass office will be staffed during park hours.

Just prepare yourself for a line if you plan on going opening weekend.

Or, if you don't have the voucher yet, buy a regular admission at the Magnum gate and keep your ticket and receipt. When you get to the front of the park later in the day, take your ticket and receipt to the Season Pass center and you will just have to pay the difference between ticket price and pass price.

This way you can get in at opening without having to wait through the season pass line. Just make sure you do it that day. If you wait until the next day, the ticket you paid for won't count toward your season pass cost.

^^Though even on OD weekend, I would bet the wait won't be too horrible given how much they've already streamlined the whole process.

Does anyone happen to know if on the night before the park opens (when Challenge Park is open) if the SP Center will be open any later than 7? I'm driving over that evening, and wanted to get my pass processed, but I wasn't sure how late they would be open.

Ripcord Crew 2002 / MF Crew 2004

Traditionally on opening weekend (specifically sunday) has the season pass center opened earlier in the morning? I was hoping to get there, get my pass and get into the park for at least part of ert.

^i have the same question. I'm going opening day and the sunday after. Myself and 4 friends are buying platinum passes, but we aren't sure how many people will be proccessing or what time the season pass center opens. We are going to try and get there around 9, but if the center opens earlier we would go earlier.
