Screen in front of RR station

I can't quite tell from the webcam whether the screen for the "laser" show has been replaced. Do you think they would perhaps be taking this opportunity to upgrade to a screen that can be retracted? Sure would be nice to actually see the train station again.

As of right now the screen still appears to be missing. That is a very good idea about the retracting screen, though I doubt it would ever happen.

That screen is a bigger eyesore than DT.

Id rather look down the Million Dollar Midway and see the train station(without the screen and supports) with a train coming in and the Giant Wheel behind it, than that banked turn that completely ruins the theme at the start of the trail.

I agree. The Giant Wheel, without the screen, really was a nice back drop to the Funway Station.

If they wont move the screen, then why not tear down Disaster Transport, move the Train Station over there, then we coudl have the train station with the Giant Wheel behind it again. Of course, we would need to find a new route for the train tracks, but the engineers are good (pun intended)

They use it for the show, football at halloween, and cool pyro favorites like firewater and fireworks!

DT is another story, if they tear it down, a lot of people will be upset, like my sister, but it is ugly and blocks the lake.

According to the On-point blog a few back, yes the Hot Summer Lights show will continue and the screen will be staying.

Because it blocks one of the best views the park ever had. Though the Giant Wheel isn't there anymore. But it was always neat to look down the midway and see the station with the Giant Wheel behind it. Even now it would be great to look down that midway and see the train station and Millie's lift with the srceen not in the way. I know I said Millie ruined the theme of the trail, but I can tolerate, the sun set does look good behind it!

^^ Very true. It sucks that they had to move the giant wheel. I don't like where it sits now. And there is a lot of wasted space behind it in between the giant wheel and Wicked Twister. The view was remarkable when the sun was setting with the train station and the giant wheel behind it. But they had to move the Giant Wheel somewhere if we wanted Millie.

I wouldn't classify the area between the two rides as "a lot of wasted space", given that there needs to be room for maintenance equipment to access WT.
