Screamster Housing Question

I have recently been hired to work in a haunted house this Halloweekends. I am very eager and excited about working. I hear it's loads and oodles and a million other obscure adjectives of fun, and I'm sure it will be! I do have one question that I'm really hoping someone can answer.

Can screamsters and employees hired JUST for the Halloween season live in the dorm rooms for the entire duration? Or can I only stay there over the weekends since I wont be working Monday through Thursday? I live a few hours away so I was really hoping I could just live in the Cedar Point housing unit for the 2 months instead of commuting. Is this a possibility? Please and thank you for any information!

This would have gone better in the "Employee Lounge" section, but yes, you can stay in your room all week. You'll get assigned to a room that will be your room the entire time, so even if you were only there on the weekends it's not like you're just ending up somewhere random each week. It's actually fairly peaceful there during the week since most people are only working weekends that time of year.

I'm doing the same thing! I live in Missouri, so once I process in August 9th, I'm here until Nov. 1st!

I am a new Screamster and also very exited, I will only be living in the dorms during the weekends since I work during the week. I do recall seeing an email though that to stay in a room during the weetk its $5 a night, unless you work that day. Not sure if I read that right but here is the direct quote from the email from Peggy

"There are no housing charges for Friday through Sunday nights. You will be charged $5.00 per day Monday - Thursday, unless you are working that day."

Another question I have is which housing do they use for the Screamsters who are just there for the weekends during HalloWeekends? Is it mostly the stuff on the mainland?

It's all on the mainland. The on-point dorms are closed after Labor Day.
