screamster clothes?

So this is my first year being a screamster and on the phone I remember the person saying I have to wear all black. I was just wondering do I need to wear like a long sleeve black t-shirt or can it be short sleeves? Can it be like a v-neck or does it have to cover everything?(just wondering because I already have a few black v-necks) and do the pants need to be jeans or can I wear leggings? And finally do the shoes need to be all black too? Thanks so much! Sorry for all the questions!

Generally speaking, any part of your normal clothes, that are visible outside of the costume, need to be black. You may want to wait until you know what your costume is before deciding exactly what you'll wear. For instance, my clown costume allows me to wear shorts, any color, underneath.

All black pants, socks and shoes are a must (unless of course your costume covers your pants, as Bigmal said). Your top half will likely be covered by whatever costume you are assigned, so that's really just whatever is most comfortable for you. Some people just wear a black t-shirt, some people wear black turtlenecks or sweatshirts on colder nights, some wear Under Armor. As long as it's black, you should be good.

Also depending on what zone or house you are in can determine the best clothes to wear.

might i recommend layers as well.....sometimes the nights can be cold, sometimes the costumes don't keep you warm enough...with layers you can adjust. and on a side note...DRINK LOTS OF LIQUIDS.
