What was your scariest moment on any ride?
summer 1988..sitting on top Demon Drop for 25 min

Summer of '99-on Rte 4 on the way to Po!nt-0%
visability due to fog-BARELY saw headlights of oncoming car maybe 20' in front of my car-swirved to the right to avoid head on crash, swirved back to road-car spun around-by time done car spinning was facing OTHER way, was on other side of road and no clue how I avoided ending up in ditch on either side of road. (No--no one stopped and to this day I get the chills when I pass that same spot)
THAT was without a doubt the SCARIEST moment on ANY ride!!!

Ripcord gets worse every time. I can handle any coaster hands up the very first time, but Ripcord scares me senseless! The first time, it was terrifying but fun, the second time I was freaking out after I got halfway up, and the third time I was freaking out right at the beginning. I don't think I'll go again! Last Aug. on Raptor. My buddy and I left the station it started rainning and I said will my luck we'll get stuck. Sure enough for about 30 mins and I'am claustrophobic with the shoulder harness on I thought I was going to freak. That is not a good feeling. This year with my luck I'll be stuck on MF at the top.
NELSON, if you're claustrophobic, you should have no problem at all with sitting at the top of Millennium Force. All that lovely space all around you, surrounding your upper body...
On the other hand, if you were agoraphobic, then you'd have a *huge* problem with Millennium Force...

I was riding Chaos with my dad and uncle, we were towards the end of the ride and suddenly my dads car keys fell out of his pocket. We got off and told the operators about what happened and they were nice enough to stop the ride. They had the ride stopped for a good 15-20 min. and then a kid all the way in the back of the queue found them! His keys flow over 40 feet! I was kind of bummed, because we would have be stuck in the park!:}

A Cedar Pointer!"
I remember the first year mantis came out,I lost my keys on it.it was the last ride of the evening and I didn't realize that I lost them until I got to my car.we stood outside my car for about an hour trying to get my door open(with help from cedar point security)because I had a spare key inside.just as security was going to kick us off the property, someone in the park found my keys.that was real scary because I live in Michigan, and had no other way home.
Well summer '99 I went to CP with my friend and we where going on the corksrew and when my friends harniss(can't spell) came down it didn't latch! and we were leaving the station but right before we got out of the station they stopped the train and made us get out and go into the next train. Then the next time we went on it,it was the same train and it worked he he!!!! but she was really scared!! P.S. She is scared of everything!!!!!!!!!
Mine? the ride? ohhh, my scary moment...
Place:Cedar Point; Millennium Force
Time:12:08
Date:August 4, 2000
Situation:Safety system tripped, stuck at top of hill; 298 ft in air
Reason:Circuit breaker tripped
Time Lapsed: 24.3 minutes
Classification:none
That would actually be fun maybe the first 5 or 10 minutes but after that I see why you would be scared! First you'd be impressed with the view, then you'd crap your pants because you're up way too high and not going anywhere.....

I know I get the award for the scariest moment...
My cousin Michelle who is a total coaster freak wants to ride Power Tower Turbo Drop. Well most of you have admitted that this ride actually makes you nervous if not scared.
So we are in line and I notice one of the towers on the TD (turbo drop) is not serving people. Okay. The line is moving slowly but moving. The problem was that the computer was having problems. Well it is opened back up and we are wondering whats going to happen to the people who had to "test" it after it was fix, were thinking. Right after the one tower went up, then next broke down. That means both have broken down. There was a restaint problem.
Okay now I am getting a little scared. More like a lot. We move up more and when they get they get one working again, the one the that had broken down the first time goes down. My cousin and I are wondering should we ride this. There were test rats in front of us, but only one group. THey go up and come down fine. Then its our turn.
We are in the seats and I notice one of the towers to the Space Shot is not working. Well we went up fine and came down fine but I was scared.

Number 1 And Only Cedar Point.
The last sunday in September, my friend and I went. The whole day it either rained, snowed, or sleeted. We went to Ride MF, we got in (slow day), and started to go up, and it happened to be the only time of the day when it actually hailed. The hail was only about marble size, but going up was very painful as was the rest of the ride, I had many cuts on my hands and face, it also was terribly cold, but one of the best rides I ever had on it.
Well my scariest moment was on a Snake River Falls type ride at PKI! I was just tall enough to go on and on the way down i felt myself lifting up! I don't know why but, my butt was about a foot of the seat when my dad grabbed me, and pulled me back in! Whats even worse is this happened to my cousin at SFO/SFWOA on the villian since theres no seat belts he almost flew out if not for me basically bear hugging him!

My scariest time was when i was "cleaning" the lagoon and i bet a guest that they couldn't throw a quarter into my sexy waders. The bottom isn't level. Nuff said.
How about the harness for Manits popping loose on your 11 year old daughter as its going up the lift hill?? Thank GOD that it snapped back down...I dont know if it would of fully popped open or not..all I know..when its you its one thing..but when its your child..thats one scary moment!! (P.S. this happen last summer)
I've had harnesses pop on different rides, just a notch, but it can be interesting because for a second you wonder if it's going to go ALL the way up. :)
Mantis 2k: The lagoon is scary whether you're in it or not! I've never seen that color green any where else... *GRIN*
