saturday trip blues

my first time to holloweekends was discouraging. we arrived early and things were fine until the day wore on. it was the most crowded i have ever seen. when i saw the mine ride had a line into its maze area, i knew we were screwed. even the corkscrew had a line. we left at 7 and i drowned my sorrows with some budweiser in the van. i'm going to watch the webcam on sundays to scan the parking lot. i feel unfulfilled and need my 12th trip this year to get me by til next year. i'm hoping sundays are the answer to my problem. maybe most people are hungover or watching football on sundays, i hope

Yesterday was awesome. We only had a 20 minute wait for TTD in the middle of the afternoon. Most everything except TTD and MF were walk ons.

Admittedly, we don't get to take advantage of Werewolf Canyon, Frightzone and Carnevil when going on Sundays, but the crowds are certainly lower because of it.

Wow, sounds like it was pretty packed.

I'll have to remember that. It would be better to have short ride times and miss out on some things than to brave the crowds.

I understand Friday evenings are also the way to go, low attendance and most are Halloweekending... great opportunity to take advantage of the available rides.
