Saturday the 13th

Picked up Magnum is Sinking! and got to the park about 12:15. Decided to hit Vertigo first then do a night ride later. But because of wind Vertigo was down later in the day.

After Vertigo we did Magnum, then Iron Dragon, went in the Mantis queue but ended up getting out of line cause we had to make the 2:00 Maggie meeting. I'm not even going to try to name everyone there...Rob a little help? Rode Gemini with some of the people at the meeting.

Back to the car for some lunch and changed clothes and stuff. Went back into the park hit Chaos and corkscrew, wandered around aimlessly for awhile and decided for some ungodly reason to walk on the beach. Ended up being thrown into the lake. Luckily I had the clothes I changed out of earlier to change back into. But spent another 2 hours in the car trying to dry off Sean's clothes. When we finally got the clothes dry we tryed Vertigo again but it was down. Went back into the park and hit monster twice then Mine ride then through the fright zone. Hit Cedar Downs and skipped Raptor cause of a car accident Friday my neck and shoulders were really bothering me by this point.

Did Demon Drop, Then Disaster Transport. Followed by Power Tower and Wildcat a stop in the Garter said hi to Rob, Adam, Anne, and Sabrina. Back through Fright Zone and did White Water Landing. Feeling pretty tired since its 11:00 and we had a 2 hour drive ahead of us we decided to do Magnum and go home. Saw Rob and the gang on the Maggie platform. Left the park and soon realized we had a dead battery got a jump and got back about 2:30.

Kally so nice to meet you and Magnum is Sinking. Catherine and I were so happy to see so many at the 2PM meet. It was nice that the turnout was around 16 coaster enthusiasts there. I couldn't name all of them....needless to say it was the usual gang and then some new ones. Despite the weather (so nice) still had no longer than a 15 minutes wait for any ride. (Of course, didn't do any of the majors during the busiest times of the day.) Did most of the favorites early before the lines got longer....Between 11AM and 1PM. It was a great day with wonderful friends. Thanks again for the meet.

Nice TR Kally!  Nice meeting you and Magnum.  Small world being that you live in the subdivision where I grew up!  Joey (coasterkingoftheworld) and I had a blast at CP as usual.  We got to do some new stuff too.  Joey had never been on Power Tower so we did both sides with almost no wait early on.  We did the boat, which I hadn't done since I was a kid and I finally tried cheese on a stick! :)
