So, this was going to be a one day trip up to Castaway Bay & Cedar Point.
People going:
Me, Mom, Dad, Nephew, Nephew, Niece, Sister, Brother-in-Law.

They got here around 9:30AM, and we promptly left after that.
<-Insert boring car ride story here->

So we got to Castaway Bay around noonish, checked in, went to our adjoining rooms, and unpacked our suits and headed down to the waterpark for a few hours.

Waterpark was all decked out for Halloween, with skeleton lifeguards, and cobwebs everywhere. Wave pool was awesome as usual.
And I'd like to take the time to thank the lifeguards for providing such a safe environment to "play" in.

Went back up to the rooms around 3:30, got dressed, and headed over to Famous Daves. It wasn't bad when we got there, but after we left, it was windy as hell. Time to break out the winter coats!

We looked for a parking spot for Cedar Point itself, and finally found two spots close to each other. Got the winter coats on, and brought the glow sticks and glow necklaces out.

Entered the park, and the music really got you pumped and ready to get scared. Headed over to House on Boo Hill, and went through that and the hedge maze. Then rode Calypso and the Cadillac Cars.

Went to the Old-Fashions, and rode those too. The guy working there with the red, green, and white hat was awesome and funny. He told the other half that he was going to tell on them for hitting our car.

Gave the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man a big hug, then headed over to the screen. The game wasn't on yet, so we headed over to Chic-File the fastes way I knew.

Through the Fright Zone. Now, last night was windy, so you didn't know where the hell you were going, even with the occasional lights. It was amazing, because of all the fog, and the monsters.
The low-light of the walkthrough was when one of the monsters opened up the stroller my 3-year old niece was in and scared her.
But hey, I told them before, they don't care if you're 2 or 92, they will scare you unless you have one of those invisible "stationed" police officers come with you.

Waffle Fries were awesome, by the way.

Headed back the "safe" way past CarnEEEvil, and listened to the awesome guy outside the entrance to CarnEvil talk about Lake EEErie and how Hallo means Cedar and ween means Point.

The game was on the big screen, so we watched it while two folks went on Iron Dragon.

On the way out, we got a funnel cake, and some popcorn, then back to the car we went.

All in all, an awesome day, and I'd love to do it again next year.

Oh come on, it's not that bad.
