I had a blast on Saturday! Me and my girlfriend got to the park around 11:15 and we headed for the Raptor. Waited only 5 minutes then off to M-Force. Waited about 15 minutes there and got our on-ride pics on keychains, then off to Mantis for a 15-minute wait. Next, off to Power Tower, and had a 15 minute wait on the turbo drop, and a 5-minute wait for the space shot. Then off to Corkscrew, (my shoulder still hurts from the cramped harness) LOL! We walked down to Magnum and the quene lines were empty, but the station was a different story as you all may know....(about a 5-minute wait) It was very cramped and closed-in with many people, but the ride was great! Next, off to Gemini and it’s “colorful” station, and waited only 5 minutes….our blue train won! Yeah!! Then off to White Water Landing and waited about 15 minutes. There was hardly a line but they were not many boats running for the capacity that day. Had a great time on that and got a little wet…just love that final hill! Then off to the scariest haunted house the park has to offer…the new Undertaker University! Be warned though, it’s SO dark in there it’s very hard to see where to go! Waited about 15 minutes for that. Went and got some fries and pop at the Happy Friar across from Gemini and rode the Chaos a couple of times…(10 minute wait). After that we headed to the front of the park and rode the Demon Drop which was a 5 minute wait. It was a great ride but Power Tower is scarier I think. As we sat at the top we saw the parking lot and could not believe our eyes…it looked as if the whole thing was filled to capacity! Now I know how Saturdays are!! As the afternoon went on, so did the waiting times. Since the waits were so long, we just decided to hit the haunted houses because we knew they would be even more crowded at night. I used to be scared to go into Toxic Tunnel of Terror, but I faced my fear. It was not even that scary, it was actually funny! There was one part where the monsters had there own “Nuclear Disco” room, so we started dancing with them! It was so cool! Since there was like a 2-minute wait, we went though it 4 times in a row and laughed and still got startled sometimes though by the different areas of monsters. LOL! After the first time through though, we met 2 kids by the names Arial and Sal. The little girl was scared to go though Toxic Tunnel so we took her through. Sal and I were in the front while my girlfriend Melissa and little Arial went through behind us. After that all of us went over to Pharaoh’s Secret that Arial said was scary so we waited about a half-hour to get inside. Arial cried through the whole thing…poor kid. Melissa stayed with her also though it. For Sal and I, it was a scary and fun cause we went first again. I loved the white spot room! I thought it could have been better….it reminded me too much of Toxic Tunnel. After that we cheered up Arial by going on Disaster Transport and waited a 15 minute wait there. After that, our little group split up cause we had a feeling their parents were prob. getting worried. They were to meet them at Mantis but they were not there so we just hung out with them for a while. After we split up, we headed over to the Meanstreak and waited the longest wait of the night….45 minutes. The park looked amazing as we climbed the lift hill….everything was lit up and it truly was a beautiful sight. It was a bumpy ride but I still enjoyed the great experience. After that we headed over to the new Fright Zone! It was GREAT!!!!!! We went through it 6 times and still got scared every time! We got our pics taken standing next to the “dead” bride and groom and it scared the crap outta us! It scared Melissa so bad that she fell down! LOL! We all got a good laugh out of that one! We were so scared yet hyper that we hid in the fog and scared other people until some monster came up and told us to “move on”. After that we planned to meet with her mom at the M-Force. We took her though the Fright Zone and she got scared a lot too cause she hates haunted-house type things. LOL! After all the horror-induced fun we had the last ride of the night back at Demon Drop.Overall, we had an outstanding day with not waiting periods bad at all. Cedar Point really outdid themselves this year for HalloWeekends! Can’t wait for next year! I’ll make a lot of use out of my first season pass! *CLEAR*
