We got to the park around 10:30 and headed to Dragster. The line wasn't bad at all at this point. We waited about 30 minutes and rode it. It was great as always.

Then we headed to the Iron Dragon Inn to get some chicken finger baskets. The price was $11+ with tax, ridiculous as always. We rode Millennium afterwards. The line was about two lines of a queue behind the pop machines, and we waited about an hour in all. It was a great ride as well.

We headed towards the back of the park to check out Maverick and Skyawk. Skyhawk was broken down and so was Maverick. There were people still in the line extending out from the station and a little bit into the main wait house. This was disappointing. We got some free water cups from the nice workers of Chik-fil-A and filled them with water and Coke from the machines. This was a nice refreshment to continue the day.

We made our way around to Gemini and we began to understand just how ridiculously crowded the park was when there was a line for Gemini extending out of the queue. No thank you. We headed to Magnum. It was broken down. Great.

We headed towards the very front of the park to do Wicked Twister. It had about a 30-minute wait. This was incredibly annoying but we waited anyway since my group consisted of a person who had never been to the park before let alone ridden a roller coaster until yesterday. We got onto the train and then they shut it down and beat us back to the waiting area. They said it was down due to mechanical difficulties. We promptly got out of line and left because we didn't care to wait any longer for however long it was going to take to fix it.

We went to GateKeeper and already expected an epic line for that since the park was incredibly crowded today and this is the new ride. We waited about two hours for it. It was honestly intimidating how long the line was. The entire queue for the ride was filled except for the first section which had one line length out of it filled. I enjoy the queue area for the ride, but it just took forever, and it was pretty cold with the winds from the lake constantly blowing on you. I really like the ride and look forward to more times on it this summer. I don't think it's worth a two-hour wait if you've already ridden it. My favorite part of the ride was the very beginning with the inversion at the top of the hill and going down for the loop. The rest of the ride is a bit slow for my tastes. I think it's a beautiful-looking ride and very fun to watch. People have been stating that it hurts them to ride, generally the skinny ones. I'm quite skinny, 5' 10" and 135 lbs. It didn't hurt me at all.

The park was completely packed at this point. We checked out the queues on some other rides but decided to leave because of the crowds and head back home around 6:00.

Stealing is really awesome. What a great example you set.
