Saturday, July 2nd

Arrived at the park expecting very big crowds and got down the causeway around 11 am and there were very few cars comming in and got through the tollboth without a wait, and parked in the back by Soak City.

First ride, Magnum, 1 train wait. Next we went over to the Gemini both sides running, again a walk on. Then we went over to Mean Streak and once again a walk on. By then it was 11:45 so we went up to the front of the park to get something to eat.

I got a chicken finger combo meal at Bayou Refreshments and it took about 20 minutes for the food. There were only 2 people in front of me ordering and it took forever, it looked like the workers had almost no clue to what they were doing. I normally have slow service there but the food is pretty good.

Next we saw that Millennium had a 1 hour wait, so we decided to do it. The ride was running the best I have seen this year and very little stacking outside the station. Got on that ride in 55 minutes, line kept moving very well.

Next we went over to Dragster and the sign said it was a 1 hour wait, so we waited and were on it in 40 minutes, not bad.

By this time it was 3pm and the park started getting busier. We went over to Magnum again and saw the line was just in the station. The station was completly full, but if you know what your doing you can sneak through to the front car and there will be no line there at all, so we ended up waiting less than 3 trains for each of our four rides we went on in that time period, you got to be smart and head up to the front!

After this we went back to the Mean Streak and noticed there was a small line underneath the ride and it only took about 10-15 minutes to get through which was good.

We left the park at 6. Overall the crowds starting getting heavy, but we expected a much busier day and we ended up staying longer because it wasn't as crowded. Parking lot wasn't totally full, but back around row 38 or so. *** Edited 7/3/2005 2:25:51 AM UTC by randinator***

Wow, that crowd is nothing for a saturday in July. I remember trying to get to work for shifts that started at 11:30 on Saturdays (so I left about 11) and the causeway would be jam packed, as well as backed all the way up to Cleveland Street. The row 38 sign was where about the lot would be filled on weekdays in June a few years ago! Saturday was cool and beautiful too, I wonder what kepy people away.

Let alone the long 4th of July weekend... The day before, we got to park in Row 5 or 6, and the crowds were even lighter. (Not even a half-hour wait for MF, and 3/4 for TTD).

Yea i was there 2. I gussy i can make a littler trip reports. so we got there about 11:30. wait for raptor was about 1hour so we just want to the back of the park to magnum and waited for 3 or 4 trains and got on. then wait over to the twins and waited about 4 trains. then want to meanstreak. waited about 10 mins for that got off then wait back to get. so elp ears and sat there for 20 mins or so. then walk back to get a hand stamp for ttd but it was like 145 so we walked on magnum then wait to get in line for the stamp. but the line was so long so i was like lets just go ride it with out the stap. it take us like 1/2 to get in to the were you pick your line and waited about a half houre for the front.

could of been less but people would not fit and that took more time and there was a roll back one train in front of me so pissed i all most had a roll back. then want and wait a hour for mf. then wait to the front and waited like 45 mins for raptor then we want to get food. so we left the park to go get some bbQ but the wait was 45 mins so we want back in and just got food in the park. then want to max air. what a fun ride. then wait and rode dragster and demon drop then left all in all a good day kind of sad the wicked tiwster was not open. but cant wait till i go back.
