Weather: was wonderful - cloudy and overcast in the morning, sunny and warm later. Unfortunitely for me I had forgotten my tattoo covering make up so was forced to wear my blue uniform pants ALL day-no shorts for me! So no accidentially showing off my CP tattoo to any guests! Did come to find out later I did have my make up with me all along-DOH!
High po!nts of day: Seeing Jeff eat 15 pieces of bacon with breakfast! Stopping in PR office to say hi. AM test ride! (flight 651) :) Our usual morning park walk-speculation of Area 51. Starting to have more fun and get more gutsy on spiels. Seeing many people I know or now know. Again working with the most awesome of crews. It is such a well run team I love them all!! :)
Low po!nts of day: Larger guest in row 2, when he went to get out of seat gave everyone on platform a "plumber smile" - blech!! :( Some ride prides were scaring me to death doing load side!! Just a typical "will the people ever stop coming" Saturday. 15 hours for entire crew. Just how tired was I? Ask Jeff about having to wake me up on the bus when we got back to dorm! Worse thing nothing like being the LAST person in your dorm room at night and trying to be quiet! :(
Sunday the 13th
Weather a whole other story. Time for the sweatshirt, knee high socks, ear muff thingy, gloves, blue sweat suit definitely your friend that day!
High Po!nts of day: CHOWING down on breakfast, our usual morning park walk. AM test ride (flight 652) :) Seeing Mr Skyward when I was on way to break and him coming over and touching me again....ok so THAT part not so great, I did tell him to come over and ride Raptor later. Seeing the VP of GOCC, Bob, and him not realizing who I was till he came back to the station. His comment was "well, you really are Raptor Jo, aren’t you?" :) Yes, he kicked my butt in the GOCC election but he can’t run Raptor now, can he? ;) A guest had some sort of bag under his shirt that stuck out funny, when I fastened his belt I said "you know I would get that thing looked at" and he cracked up! Then later another guest had one of those light things tucked in his pants but was sticking out under his shirt. When I grabbed his harness and saw it I said, "I don’t even want to know what that thing is!!" and he too cracked up. I got to see Monty Jasper, Bill, Magnum Dan, Alex, Raptor Man Dave, and later on Mr Skyward did come and ride. Getting to hear Jeff finally get the guts up enough to do spiels and SNAKING my patented lines!! ;) Getting to ride 2 more times before night over!! (flights 653 and 654!) :)
Low Po!nts of day: Feeling badly I didn’t have sweatshirts and gloves for all the crew members, I know most of them had to be freezing by night end. Having to call my own hold :( Raptor freaking me out when I was on controls. Yet more "hygiene optional" guests-blech! :( The stupid blondes who went to cross in front of a train to put their stuff in the box, then lost something on the runway so we had to stack. So I survived yet another fun filled (and bug filled) weekend working at Cedar Po!nt working on the flying chicken. Again I am so lucky to be part of the bestest crew at CP, they are just so great to work with!!! Let me also say here too that our crew has the KING of spiels, Mike. You have GOT to hear him spiel. he is WONDERFUL and hilarious-trust me you will love him!!! :)
Just think I have all this fun AND get paid for it!!! :)
CUATCP! :)
