Can someone please tell me what that go-kart place is called, right on Rt. 250? And do they have a website?

Also, is there a link for the Sandusky Mall?

And you know what Sandusky needs? Bass Pro.

And there is a persistent rumor that Bass Pro may be coming to Port Clinton within the next couple of years.

I think they should go to Sandusky, overall. It'd bring them much more traffic being such a larger city with all the other stores. Just my two cents.

Well the rumor I heard was that it is going to be in Sandusky. Somewhere around the new shopping plaza where Home Depot is along Rt.2. But, it was just a rumor.

Actually, Port Clinton would get more business since it IS the "walleye Capital of the World" ...and having family from there, it would get jsut as much if not more business there than in Sandusky. That's even IF they decided to build one.

Ahhh good 'ole Sandusky Mall (or where CP employees hang out on Pay Day).

For such a tiny, unexciting mall..it sure holds a lot of memories for me. Scottos Pizza is a MUST!! Hands down! To see the reaction of locals when the CP crowd arrives is fun. :) I worked part time at JC Penney & Elder Beerman back in the day in the off season...and their business did not even BEGIN to compare to the summertime. Too bad that Sandusky is such a seasonal town, because I would LOVE to see higher volume stores at the mall (Pottery Barn, Williams & Sonoma, Yankee Candle Co., Hollister, Armani Exchange, H&M, the return of "GAP", etc.).

I manage stores in two Toledo area malls and always love to meet the new CP employees who make the hour trip. So stop on in and say "Howdy".

No more Scotto's Pizza (or as it is called now "Mario's"). They are now closed as of last week. Not sure of the reasons, but I have heard rumours of many different reasons.

Money laundering, employing illegal aliens, and something related to drugs as well. Although the Sandusky Register will have you believe it was just for not paying their rent. But it helps to know someone on the inside;)
