Sandcastle Suites

Staying on CP property for first time and looking at pricing for CP hotels. Sandcastle Suites is a bit cheaper and seems just as nice, if not nicer than the breakers. Looking for opinions on whether I should book Sandcastle or splurge on the Breakers.
It does seem like a bit of a walk though from Sandcastle to the park, is that the case? Is there any form of transportation (tram, etc?) to get you there and back?

There are shuttles, it is a little bit of a walk, but not bad. We have 5yr old twins, so we prefer the Breakers just because of the closer proximity to the exits. I also enjoy the atmosphere of the Breakers, sandcastle feels "far away" from the action from my experiences.

It also depends on how many people you have with you. The suites at sandcastle are a touch smaller than the suites at breakers. But sandcastle was updated a few years back so they have a more "newer" feel to them with flat panel tv's.

It is a bit of a walk, but it's a very nice walk along a secluded beach boardwalk. If anything, I'd take the shuttle back at the end of the day when you're tired. There is a phone to call for a shuttle near Ripcord.

No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

Thanks for the replies, still undecided on where to stay..I should probably make up my mind soon being its less than 2 weeks away.
Does anyone know if you can use the breaker's large outdoor hottub if you stay at sandcastle??

Yes, you can use all the pools and hot tubs. I have never been checked to see if I was even a resort guest, even though I always am.
