I've said it before, and I'll say it again, fighting on the internet is about as productive as going the wrong way on an escalator.

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

Okay kiddies, don't feed the troll. He was looking for a fight and he got one *rolls eyes*

As for safety, I've been to several Six Flags-es as well as CP, and Cedar Point is not only the safest in terms of physical health, but also in terms of security. Physical side: Have any of you ridden Chicago Six Flags' Iron Wolf? It's their standup coaster, and just sitting in the station it looks ready to combust. Security side: I know two girls who've gotten their purses stolen on SF school trips. Other than the arcade jacking $30 from me every time I go, CP has NOTHING like that, that I know of at least.

Although the guy at the Lemon Chill did tell me a story about the green Power Tower coming off its tracks and smashing an 8 ft deep hole in the ground. Better stay away from that one.

2008 - Games (Area 3/Scales)
2009 - Games Supervisor
2010 - Season pass holder.

I thought the green Power Tower had an incident where a girl got her hair stuck at the top of tower. :)

But, seriously, you will be fine. The only time I have ever felt unsafe at Cedar Point was my first time riding Magnum, and since it was the first train of the day, and we sat in the back car last row, I thought I was going to fly out. But, alas, I didn't, although I did get sick a few minutes later.

Enjoy your trip, and please, type up a trip report when you get back.
