I was waiting for Skyhawk and I noticed that CCMR had vallied. It was in that turn where you go down under the track and back up over the track under you, right before the big drop over the lagoon. I am still trying to figure out how they got it open so fast, and I didn't notice any cranes either.

I did notice that alot of rides were having mechanical problems but I knew it was to be expected. I had an awful time trying to ride dragster though. The sign said 1 hour so I got in line and got through all but the last set of queue's then it started breaking down and rolling back, at that point I had only waited about 1/2 hour but before it was all said and done after the breakdowns I had waited 2 1/2 hours.

Mine Ride has winches already in place on the track to pull a train out of a valley. It's a pretty common situation. I watched on a day in 2004 where they had to winch the ride 2 or 3 times to get it all the way back to the station. They can do it pretty quickly.
I wouldn't be so quick to say Dragster was running well on opening day, it was running like crap. At one point while I was in line, they sent a mighty 6 trains in an hour and a half.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
I must say that I certainly had my doubts about TTD after opening day, actually I was discusted. However, today was the best that I have ever in the past 3 years seen the Top Thrill Dragster run. I never saw it shut all day and it seemed to have absolutely no down time. Mad Props to all those who worked on TTD to get it in the shape it was today. If they can make this last and have it consistently going, then they have really got something.
It ran so good today, the lines never from what I saw exceeded 15 mins (though the park was not crowded, but still even on days like today, there always seems to be a wait for TTD; my theory is get the people on and off and get them their one ride on TTD and they go to other things). I was able to ride it seven times today, more then I rode it all last August, September, and October combined. Gives me pride to see my favorite ride performing at such a high level, a level that hopefully continues throughout the year. *** Edited 5/10/2006 5:22:47 AM UTC by ejh1701***

I can confirm that it is raining and I don't know about you, but going 120mph in the rain isn't very fun nor does the ride run.
It's almost like some of you are hoping the ride has problems. *** Edited 5/11/2006 11:47:56 PM UTC by Gomez***

I was there today and it was down due to wind. It barely rained at all. Only two very quick showers and that was it. If the wind had died down, it would have opened.
I must say I was very upset I didnt get to go on.........but I did ride Millennium about 20 times!! Every single ride was a walk on too!!
So I mark today down in my Operation Log as "weather"...which doesn't count.
