It was Running! A Few rollbacks and delays because of the Rollbacks, but yes it was like the only coaster that stayed running.
RIP MR.SCOTT The ONLY MAYOR OF LIGHTHOUSE
Starting the season off to a great start.

Sometimes I wish they still had the TTD webcam so I could check to see if it was running. Oh well, the Skyhawk one is a nice addition. Great to see TTD is up and running!
Thrills Around the Corner!
During the afternoon when me and my buddies were waiting for it we waited about an hour through breakdowns.
The problem with Dragster is just it's inconsistency with hitting interval.
Today so many rides were breaking down, It was pretty rediculous.
^Millennium Force, Cedar Creek Mine Ride, Magnum, Corkscrew, Iron Dragon, WildCat, Chaos, Mantis, Skyhawk, maXair, Top Thrill Dragster, Power Tower, and Raptor all had some downtime yesterday. *** Edited 5/7/2006 1:37:03 PM UTC by DBCP***

All different things. Magnum had a evacuation from the lift around 11. A few were simple block break things, but they kept happening over and over again. Dragster had it's normal breakdowns, mostly in the afternoon, going into the evening. maXair and Skyhawk both went into a "free swing" mode where they just kept swinging until they came to a complete stop. Chaos' locking mechanisms that keeps the cars from moving when loading weren't working. Millennium had some kind of problem, which caused them to take the red train off after about an hour.

Sounds to me like TTD ran like it always does. Delays here and there, but nothing major. The slow intervals are most likely due to the new crew. These things get better over time.

I ecpected TTD to run knda badly but not MF.Do you guys think its just becuase of the beggining of the season or whut.
The rides have been dormat for 6 months. Sure they tested them, but there's no way they could test for 6 hours+ all day long. Bugs are bound to show up around opening day.

Opening day is a little like letting your car sit all winter, starting it up a few times in spring to drive it around town, then going on a 2,000 mile road trip...

Rollbacks - 1 - Opening Day 2005
Last TTD train of the night (6-23/24).
So can I expect for the rides to be running well in early June?I go ever year and there have never been problems exept with TTD or course lol.
Well first off let me say that yesturday was the most amazing opening day ever for me. Me and my friends got on all the coasters and Skyhawk (amazing ride btw) and not only that but 2 of my wishes came true:
1) I/WE GOT FIRST TRAIN OF THE SEASON!!!!
2) IT WAS A ROLLBACK!!!!!
IT WAS AMAZING!!
And I even closed the day with the last train on Millennium!!!!!. It was a day I will never forget.:)
Second, I thought Dragster ran very well. A few rollbacks in the morning (me included:)) and a few short downtimes (like 20 30 minutes long) but nothing major at all. I'm logging it in my Dragster year log as "running".
First day off to a great start!!!!:)

Some problems or breakdowns usually occur during Opening Day, but in my last 7 years of Opening Days, I'd say yesterday was probably the worst in terms of Park Operations and breakdowns.
