Hey. My name is Mike and I will be processing in on May 17th. I plan to stay in the Bayside Apartments, if they are available. Im looking for a couple of roommates. I am a very neat and organized person, and you dont have to be, but I would like a roommate who is at least generally neat. A big mess will probably bother me. Other wise I think im really easy to get along with.

I guess i.m. me at mikezrule (aim) of course. Alright then...

...something to add to my previous post...it doenst have to be bayside apartments...im also considering commons dorms...

Hey, im also looking for a roomie. This is my 3rd year, probably wanting to move in to commons dorms. Feel free to check out my myspace, im neat and i go out fairly often and am not in the room too much except days off!

sigh, this is sad. Usually the newbies just come and get assigned a random roommate. Thats how it's usually done. Now with myspace and popular stuff, it's just not the same experience :(

Lol i'm not saying it's a bad one either, i just think it's funny how with time and change, comes...well more change.

See you all June 7th!!

I too need a roomie. I'm not planning on doing much partying since I'm only 17 (and don't drink) but I do like hanging out and meeting new people. I am probably going to stay in the commons dorms. Looking for someone who can put up with a little guitar playing too (don't worry, I have headphones I'll use when I do practice...)

I process in May 28th

hey everyone first time coming out to work at cedar point! ill be working at T.G.I. FRIDAYS on cleveland road... wheres the best place to live?????? also i move out there May 14th so if anyones lookin for a roomie hit up the my space! http://www.myspace.com/13487694

I process in June 10th. I'll be working as a backstage tech in the goodtime theatre. I'm looking for a roomie, preferably another tech person.

I want to live at Bayside. I process May 13th, with the possiblity of coming earlier (depends). I will, for sure, be there by the 13th of May, however.

I like neatness and people who keep their things in their own space (i.e. their personal belongings/objects not scattered around). I'm easy to get along with and have an AC unit (if I'm allowed to bring it, I'd def. be up for payin' extra. I like it cold). You can and should be comfortable in the place you live in, so I'm not trying to sound like I have OCD.

Get at me by emailing me or sending me an instant message.

wow... i could never survive in the CP dorms... I barely survived one year in the BGSU dorms... Being the only child of two only children in a 3 bedroom home in findlay with a 3 bedroom home up at the lake taught me not to share space.. I had 2 bedrooms and the basement to myself in findlay and 2 bedroom up at Catawba...

So I would have to live with someone like myself...
-No Smoking!!! (absolute #1 necessity)
-Very little drinking (mabye 1 or 2 beers a week max)
-no Music!! (only talk radio or mabye lite jazz and some Gershwin, and not conservative AM radio!)
-No mess... no dirty clothes, dishes, bathrooms, not even stray dust!
-no guests! Home is for escaping the world and relaxing... my home is my sanctuary.. go socialize outside the apartment/dorm/home
-Be quiet at night... I need at least 8 full hours of sleep between 10pm-6Am or 11pm-7am on most nights...
-Early to bed, early to rise!

Needless to say after working just as a screamster for a halloweekends season and living off site in Catawba on the weekends, I figured out there are few if any people at CP (or elsewhere) who would be able to meet my living requirements.... But if I am mistaken please let me know!!! *** Edited 5/2/2007 5:07:32 AM UTC by Andrew VanAtta***

Andrew.... you are right... there are very few people at CP who could meet those requirements. Especially the sleep requirements. There were nights where I didn't get off work till after 1AM and a few mornings (British Coaster Club), where I had to be at the ride by 4 AM... As far as drinking goes. Each person over 21 is only allowed one 6 pack at a time. Is that rule followed?.... eh... No mess and No guests... you can try to be courteous, but things happen... guests come over... messes happen when you are working 70 hours a week. I don't mean to sound rude. You are completely entitled to your standards... I just think you made the right decision in not seeking out that living environment at CP.

You bring up an interesting point though. CP could/should have a section of one of the dorms for people who do want a quieter atmosphere. Have stricter quiet hours, and then you would know you are rooming with someone who has the same standards of living as you... Just a thought.

Wow, I could never live with someone like you (no offense meant). I'm with you on the no-smoking though. I don't care if someone smokes, but not in the room. I don't want my stuff smelling like smoke (that and I'm allergic). But dude, people drink, listen to music (both of which they should be allowed to do in their room). You're the one who said "Home is for escaping the world and relaxing". That does include, drinking, listening to music, and hanging out with friends inside the home/dorm/apt., whichever. I know that's what I do to relax. I'm lucky if I'm home by 11:00 at night. Usually, that's when I'm getting out of work, and heading out with friends. Good luck finding someone, anyone who would ever be willing to live with someone with such a strict set of guidelines to follow.
