I'm new to this whole thing so if I sound dumb I'm sorry.
I've been reading up on the housing and a lot of people say the Commons are the best, but are the Gold housings bad?
Do you get to chose your housing? How and when do you get to if you can?
Also is there wi-fi in the dorms?
Please and thanks for any help.
Commons is definitely the best. I actually never went in Golds last summer so I have no clue what its like! I did hear that they had really clean bathrooms, but they don't have air conditioning which will be killer on those 90 degree days and nights. You choose your housing when you process in. They'll be able to tell you if there is housing available in commons or not when you process in, most likely there will be unless you come in like mid to late June or something. There's wifi in the lobby of 1400s but its pretty slow. I actually paid to have tethering with my blackberry last summer which worked really well and was IMO definitely worth the 15 a month.

I would really suggest living in the commons. That's where I lived last season for the time that I was there, and I liked it. The bathrooms were, for the most part, always clean, and you get AC. Although I lived in the 1500's because I heard they were newer, I think this year I might check out the 1400's beacuse the only complaint I had was four beds, and three lockers! The space is small, but you don't spend a lot of time in your room - if you're not at work you're out doing other things. It really just depends on what you're comfortable with, the apartments to me are much more crowded, and I don't like the whole no AC thing and having so many roommates, but you do get two bathrooms in your apartment to share with all of your roommates. I don't have much information for the on point housing, because I never was in those dorms! Bayside is nice, but those fill up rather quickly and are hard to get into!
1400 is a guy dorm only

This is my first year at CP. I kind of want a fun roommate that I can get to know before we move in. If anyone out there still needs a roomie, add me on facebook. Nicole Rivera! (:
Nicole, where do u work this season? I am a 5th year and best advice, live with people in the same department as you. I work in rides and will only house with ride ops because we have the same schedule.
I am so excited though! I need to find new roomies as well because my original roomies aren't working this season!
This is my first year at CP and I need a person to call roomie! lol I am looking for a girl who likes to have fun and outgoing but can keep there stuff picked up. I will be working on the gemini and i heard it's better to find other ride host and I hear that 1500 is a nice place to live.
interested?? add me to facebook Brittney Roeder

Hey so I am looking for a first year ride operator for a roomie. I have been here 5 years this season. I wanted to stay in the 1300 which is practicly the same as 1500 just a bit quieter and all girls. I looked for u on facebook but there are three girls with the same name.

I'm going to be a ride host too! :) I'll be working power tower. I totally understand what ya mean, makes tons of sense, lol.
I love Power Tower. It's my number one fav ride in the park. Worked it last year. I think it would be fun to room together. I am a fifth year.
