Is it really bad to just go in there and get a random roommate?

its hit or miss my first three years i had random roommates it worked well my first and third year but my second year was a complete nightmare

i was lucky my first year and found a great roommate from this website :) if you get there and absolutely hate your roommate you can always change rooms.
