roomates

I'm comfortable with my sexuality, that's why I don't mind having a gay roomate. But I am uncomfortable with a gay guy hitting on me, because no-matter how much you're confortable with your sexuality; that's gonna be an awkward situation. If a person kept hitting on me afterwards, it would get annoying. But if a person were doing it out of spite, it would just piss me off.

that's exactly it tho... you're assuming you will be hit on. it doesn't mean your some sex crazed nympho if you're gay.

I dont know, just my experience... but the one's who say that theyre cool with it but obsess about you not 'hitting on them' are really the one's that are really the least comfortable.

of course tho i'm not asking you to be comfortable with anything, i could care less.

You're assuming that I'm assuming that I'm going to be hit on. And I'm not obsessing about anything, not everybody who argues a point is obsessed, not all those who wander are lost, etc. etc. I'm saying "If" this situation happens, not when.

Anyway, even if I were gay I wouldn't go out with anybody who would hit on me because they would have bad taste.

Wow, are you guys sure the topic isn't "gay roomies"? I'm Jeremy, I'm working Mantis this year and process in on May 2nd. It would be awesome to find a cool roommate that I get along with, for either commons or bayside. Maybe someone who has worked another season and can show me around a bit (bad sense of direction here). I'm gay, but don't care if my roomies are gay straight bi transvestites transexuals or "metrosexual", as long as they are an easy going fun person. That's something we will all want in our lives this summer I think. I'm from Michigan, love college football, tennis, olympics, all night movie fests and grabbing a beer once in a while. I like to listen to music a lot and read too, so I'll just go with the flow. Anyway, my AIM is jaymich21 if you want to hit me up and chat.

Does anyone know what facilities will be open April 12? I need to mentaly prepare myself if I have to live in Cedars for a couple of days/weeks. *shudder* The two hours I was there was enough for a lifetime...

Anyways, I'm probably going to be in 1500's this year. Can't beat the atmosphere of the commons curb, nope! Bayside seems nice, but I'd rather live with lockable doors and lockers. Well, I'd go to Bayside if I moved in with people I could trust :P!

Hey Jeremy, this is Kurtis. I for sure am on Mantis. This is my second year, and I would rather not room with the people that I did last year. I am bi for anyone that wants to know, but I also am a smoker, so that could be a prob. I am getting there April 19th, and I will move into Commons mainly because I never went into Bayside, and I don't know if they have heat or not. So either way, need a roomie.

I for sure will be in 1500's ASAP when I get in to CP and finishing processing in and all that fun junk (APR 12)! Anyone interested in a roomie, let me know. Ask anyone that I know from last year, I'm trustworthy and won't steal you stuff. Though I might bum cigarettes every now and then, other than that I'm hardly in the room. But metrosexuals are one side of the fence or the other. They're straight guys who come across gay because they "pamper themselves" and are very much into how they look. Not at all saying that is how gay guys are, but its the only way I can think to describe it. :) Nick Poe for life!
