Roller Coaster Capital of the World on new Ohio plates?

Vote early, vote often. "Roller Coaster Capital of the World" could be a slogan on the new Ohio licence plates! http://t.co/qVtJjzGY

I voted...and I don't even live there.

Thanks for the heads up. Although, I think "The Buckeye State" will be tough to beat.

I've never understood why you can't get Cedar Point specialty plates. They have special plates for the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame, Pro Football Hall of Fame, etc.

Edit: Actually I just noticed that many of the slogans are featured in the design as the part of the background.

Voted for it. There's some others that will be hard to beat, but if the word gets out it could happen.

I voted for it for you guys....wish I lived there, would love that on my license plate.

Special plates are typically coordinated with the organization they represent, and I'm reasonably certain they have to be non-profit entities.

I voted!

Hey, I just voted again. Gotta love American democracy.

I think the Rubber Capital slogan, with a modification, would be better -

"Ohio - Our population is falling because we are the Rubber Capital of the World"

I just cast my vote.

They do have a large list of choices for special plates including the major league sports teams in Ohio.

If you follow that link, just choose one 'Passenger Car' and click continue to see the list.

As a Michigander, I would be willing to dispute the "First Traffic Light" claim. I believe the world's first traffic light was in Detroit. Let the Michigan vs. Ohio wars begin!

There is no war, it's fact. The first patent was granted to a Cleveland man, I think in the 20's, which had additional historic importance because he was black.

We also had the first concrete street. Nyahhh. Oddly enough that chunk of pavement is presently closed to traffic.

I voted, if my plates can say that I wouldn't mind paying for them

I live in Akron myself so I would have to agree with you on that. I however voted for the Roller Coaster Capital of the world. :)

I'd throw those tags on my truck if I could get it to read "Worst State Ever"!
