Rocks on tunnels?

I don't think that the rocks will be inside the tunnels. Therefore, we will have rocks blending with the trail on the outside and whatever futuristic look they decide to have on the inside. It makes sense to me, since you won't really see the outside of the tunnels all that much when you ride.

The rocks are outside the tunnels. It looks like a mountain. They only have a chunk of them up on one of the tunnels. I think it looks cool.

none taken millrace. I totally understand what everyone is saying about the look of the rocks and the attempt to blend it in with frontier trail, and obviously the rocks wouldn't be inside the tunnels. No you won't really notice the outside of the tunnels when you are on it, but you will standing in the queue.

Here is what I am thinking. Lets say I build the newest, most futuristic house, it has all the bells and whistles you can imagine, newest gadgets and thingymabobs. I build this new house in Arizona near the Grand Canyon. I decide to paint my house dark blue and have all the overhang supports silver, I don't put a row of brown rock in the middle of it so it will blend in nicely with the canyon.

Doesn't anybody see my point from earlier that MF is going to be basically on the trail anyways. It's not going to be the same serene place it used to be no matter how many rocks you put on the tunnels.

Once again, this is just MY opinion, and I hope I am not giving the impression of being to critical. I know I'll still love the ride its' just that the rocks seem out of place.

Actually, you can't even see the tunnels from the queue.

well, then all my problems are alleviated.:-)
Looks like we were all sort of right. The tunnels aren't covered, they are just partially surrounded by rocks. didn't look like a toolshed to me. Also, I could see at least one of the tunnels from the queue. I did think the rocks blocking your view on Frontier Trail looked good for that area, but my view from the queue looked cool with the "toolshed" look.
Typical of journalism fashion to be slightly in error, it has been reported that MF has strobe lighting in the tunnels. This is fasle, isn't it?
At least yesterday it was false. There werent any special effects in the tunnels. The only thing close is the on ride photo taken from inside the second tunnel, which does doa strobe effect to take the pictures, but I dont think thats what they meant.
If you want to see a toolshed, check out the "tunnel" on the Wild Thing at Valleyfair!

You are literally going through a large tin rectangular building structure that gets to be about 120 degrees in the hot sun.

Coming soon to an amusement park near you.
Only in the second tunnel are there stobes, but only for the on-ride-photo cammera.
