Will there be rocks on the M.Force's tunnels?
yes diffinetly but they haven't put them on yet but I don't know why does anyone know??????
If you'll notice on the most recent article that appeared in the Sandusky Register (check out the news section of this site), they were quoted as saying what's left is the cosmetic aspects of the final phases of construction.
Trust me, they are doing it as we speak..

There will be rocks on the Millennium Force, and I actually sort of stole a peice from one. They are fake! Not real. They are made of this stringy material. I have pics to prove. E-mail me evanjm5@aol.com or www.cedarpoint.homestead.com , coming soon
You stole a piece of the rock for the tunnel. hmmm.....hmmm.....Now if you stole something from Cedar Point, why would you flash that info around the internet? The head of Cedar Point reads these threads.

The tunnel frames are made out of a wire mesh covered by some kind of fiberglass. I remember seeing them work with the wire mesh, but I forgot how they did the tunnels.
so when are they putting these rocks on the tunnels? On Saturday 4-29-00 they were still silver from what we could see.
To me, I think it looks more futuristic if they leave them silver as opposed to tunnels with rock on them.
Just my opinion.
The tunnels are on the Frontier Trail. Futuristic is not the look you want in that area of the park.
I am talking from the coaster standpoint. I don't think the rocks on the tunnel will enhance the look of the coaster.
If they didn't want some sort of futuristic look to that area of the park, why put a coaster with a advertising campaign stating the look of cedar point is changing forever, and the future is riding on it. The one quicktime movie definately gives me the impression that this is suppose to be futuristic.
I guess I really don't know too much about theming, but thats probably why I like amusement parks better then theme parks.
Wait a minute!!!
Ever seen Back to the Future Part III ?????

As I was there two-three weeks ago, and they were 1/2 done, you may just be getting a bad image.
There will still be rocks in the future. We won't wake up one day and find that mountains have mysteriously turned into giant silvery mounds.
Sarcasm is great, isn't it? Obviously there will still be rocks in the future, but that doesn't mean that the theming oof this ride necessarily needs rocks on the tunnels.
Maybe for the frontier trail walk they will look cool, but when you look at the construction photos from above with the tunnels still metal it looks very cool. make them brown, or grey or whatever rock color you want but I still think it will look better the way they are.
remember this is just my opinion. As I am sure there will be many differing ones.
If you ask me it looks like a tool shed.

MF may be supposed to look futuristic but FT isn't so the rocks are an attempt to blend the two together. No offense meant with the sarcasm owl :)
