RMC Streak Photo Update - May 7, 2017

I have a strong feeling that the track work is just the beginning of whatever Project 2018 is. There is still a TON of electrical work to be done, plus I am sure the station and transfer area will be re-done, and, hopefully, a new midway debuts too!

The angled roof and siding make it look like more than just a box.

Then it looks like a box that someone stepped on.

So the signs spotted in Frontiertown have a reward of $875. So maybe the new ride will have an 87° drop and a top speed of 75mph? That definitely seems reasonable considering the assumed new height of around 200ft at least, and of course the positioning of braces on the drop.

If you are going 87 degrees why not make it 90?

They did major work on the lift hill in terms of new supports. They got it to the point where the highest support is as high as the current peak where the drop is. I don't have any photos but if you look up #meanstreak on instagram, there is a picture of it from today.

$875 = announcement 8/7 @ 5pm? Only downfall on this theory is 8/7 is a Monday.

Tony just quoted on twitter a guest that took a picture of now two wanted signs side by side with two different characters. This makes me speculate if there's more than just MS2.0 for next season

I'm slow but has any one thrown out "Sheriff" as a possible name? Wouldn't be that far out of the realm of possibility considering the whole wanted poster thing they're doing. The posters are the "outlaws/trains" and they're taking you on a wild ride as they try to escape the law.

This is probably the park's way of making the hype more public. Although it will most likely create more questions than it answers.

Id agree thid is cp's way of making people aware this ride is actually being built up not torn down as many seem to believe. Its so news stations get cool new footage to help hype it. Then a few weeks later they announce it. Oh the humanity...
