Rita isn´t much fun. I still believe it will be a great looper (but not your ordinary looper). Wasn´t that what most people wished for? A good sitdown looper for the park? Guess most people thought of B&M, when they thought "sitdown looper". Just because it´s Intamin doesn´t nessecarily mean it´s gonna be launched or aquatrax.

Well, lets see here. Rita is a hydraulic launch coaster. TTD is a hydraulic launch coaster. Why would CP put in another hydraulic launch coaster? That doesn't make much sense.
Well if you look down from the top of the MS you will see that it is going to be a launch coaster for 2007. *** Edited 5/23/2006 9:37:26 PM UTC by CoasterMan23***
Of course it will be just like Rita. After TTD was put in and it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO successful in it's inaugural year, CP plans to only install hyraulic-launched coasters, and even retrofit the older ones. This will culminate in the 2012 addition of the 600ft revolving restaurant "Cedar Heights" where you're launched up the side at 150mph, have 10 seconds as you ride around the perimeter to grab food off the buffet and eat, then plummet back down to the ground again.
LOL - that was priceless Phathorse!
I drove to the point this weekend from Boston and of course MF was down from 3PM Sat through Sun and TTD went down at 1 PM on Sunday. One ride on MF, no rides on TTD after waiting 3 hours, had to leave (arg). The trip still kicked ass - had a great time and NO regrets.
But another launch in 2007, not a snowball's chance in hell imo.
