Ripcord/Skyscraper

literally the best place to work at CP (: wish i was going back...your TL is amazing... to say the absolute least... you will have the best summer ever!

You'll have an awesome time. Possibly the best place to work in the whole park. I miss it like crazy.

I didn't get that but I did get challenge racing, so I'll be in the same area!

The two crews are generally pretty close. Some people occasionally get to cross train between the two crews, although at least during my time there it was more common for Ripcord/Skyscraper crew to get cross trained at Race Park than it was vice versa.

lol when i worked there it was opposite - more times race park came over to ripcord/skyscraper. i just hate the spiels that race park has to do..its never ending! ahhhh.

Is working at challenge park better or worse? Should I accept the offer, or is it a horrible position lol I don't want to go and it be like the worst job there :/

yeah you should most definitely accept the offer lol! not horrible by any means..ripcord and skyscraper is just better than race park...and i say this only because i worked at ripcord and skyscraper..lol.

This statement is HILARIOUS! I worked the go-karts back in 2002 and I still have the spiel memorized.

Alright, I'll accept it then haha I'm excited even though I saw the huge thing I'll be saying all day. Other than that people have said they enjoy working the go-karts right? I wouldn't want ripcord/skyscraper only because I heard there's like a 200 page manual and its really heavy!

lol - i mean, i don't know if blue is still the TL there but everybody loved him...and as far as i know people pretty much like their jobs at race park... lol...the manual is easy - and you learn most of it hands on before you take your test...no big deal...lol. its more fun over there (:

Do we ever get to ride them for free? And yeah, when the interviewer asked if I would rather race park or ripcord/skyscraper, I just said race park because it sounded more easy than ripcord/skyscraper.

not necessarily...i guess you're technically not supposed to ride for free - but with the permission of sups if ripcord or skyscraper aren't busy they will let employees go on.. oh and they also usually use employees for training purposes before the park opens.

Challenge Park is definitely a great place to work. Fun rides, good managers, and a little more relaxed than say working Magnum or something.

"PLEASE STOP YOUR GO KARTS" being screamed endlessly over the loudspeakers is easily the worst part of working there. :)

I know I'm going to have to run a lot, that scares me lol
