Rideop outfits

Ignoring any health/comfort issues just for the moment, I would like to say that I really like 'Playa's idea for themed uniforms. I think it would add a lot to the experience. If it's supposed to be a themed ride, why not go all out? (Even outfits similar to those worn in Challenge Park, with the checked flag design on the collars, would be cool).

They could always do a short sleaved short pants style jumpsuit with patches from all the coasters in the park, instead of patches from companies. That way the only think they would be advertising is the park itself.

For some reason I don't really like that idea. I'd tell you why, but I'm not quite sure. It just doesn't seem right.

Wow, TTD, thanks for the insight!

Sorry I couldn't go more into detail, but I just don't like that idea.

I actually do like the idea. I think if they're going to go "all out" in theming the ride and the area, then this little touch would seem like a glaring omission if they left it out.

I haven't heard anything about new ride operations uniforms this year either yet. I'm guessing that they'll be the same as 2000-2002, but I was noticing last year that a lot of the red and blue shirts and even some of the shorts were looking pretty beat. You can only wash things so many times! I'd guess that new ones will come in 2004.

You ride ops will be wearing your normal uniforms except you get to wear a cowboy hat and sunglasses.

I'm sure you'll resolve this problem in 2007 when you're the CEO of Cedar Fair if not 2008 when you rule Planet Earth.

Now there's the CPN/TTD insight we've always known to go on...

"Oh, 'Playa made fun of me today! I bet that will make Jeff notice me more!"

"Pancakes? I like those too!"

"He never answered my question... DID he sit next to me on that ride?"

I don't know about you guys but I don't want my ride op to pass out while I am riding. It would seriously be too hot. The only reason they wear jump suits in Disaster Transport is because its Air Conditioned.

How about you invent and pay for them?

believe me...working in DT is not fun...it is hot as hell in there except in the control booth...the last thing i wanted to do there last year was wear more clothes in that damn building.
OK guys, I feel stupid. In all my excitement of riding TTD I forgot to notice what the ride ops were wearing. None of my friends remember either... Since I didn't notice anything I'm assuming it was the standard ride op blue and red uniform... can anyone confirm?
